About Jason McCoy

I’ve spent the last 15 years refining that makes professional photography accessible to everyone. My merit-based business model lets anyone book a free session and walk away with beautiful images completely risk-free. Sessions are free to book, and you only pay for the photos if you love (and want to keep) them. Yes, I’m that confident you’ll love your photos.

It’s a model I truly believe in. Whether you’re celebrating a graduation, updating your headshots, expecting a new baby, getting engaged, or wrangling the family for updated family portraits – I’ve got you.

My journey started 15 years ago with a camera and a passion for storytelling. My first sessions were with local animal shelters, taking portraits of animals that helped them find their forever homes. I still carry that same care and passion into every shoot I do today – from the excited chaos of a family session at Papago Park to helping you feel confident in a new professional headshot.

When the internet told me to niche down, I said “NO!” Every year I shoot over 500 sessions, which means when you book with me, you’re getting a photographer who has the reps and the real-world experience to handle anything the day brings on.

I’ve built this business around accessibility, zero-pressure experiences, and non-traditional pricing – because I believe photography should be for everyone.

I’ve made it my mission to create a safe, welcoming space – especially for neurodiverse clients who may benefit from a more flexible, patient, or sensory-aware approach.
