Family, Couples & Headshot Photography in Fountain Hills, AZ

Family, Couples & Headshot Photography in Fountain Hills, AZ

Fountain Hills has one of the most recognizable backdrops in Arizona: a 64-acre park, a lake, and a fountain that can shoot up to 560 feet. Pick your look:

  • The Fountain and the lake: Fountain Park
  • Public art and downtown: the Avenue of the Fountains
  • Desert and mountain views: Adero Canyon and the McDowell Sonoran Preserve trails

I’ve photographed custom sessions right in front of the Fountain. I photograph families, couples, seniors, and professionals in Fountain Hills. You don’t need to know how to pose. I’ll guide you and match your session to the right spot and the right light. More about me

Free mini sessions and Fountain Hills: my regular mini session parks are in other cities. The closest are Scottsdale Waterfront in Scottsdale and Papago Park on the Tempe and Phoenix border, and you can see the dates on the calendar below. Want the Fountain behind you? Book a custom session and we’ll shoot right here in Fountain Hills.

Custom Sessions at the Fountain

A custom session lets us pick the exact spot, the day, and the light, with more time and no rush. The Fountain runs for about 15 minutes at the top of each hour, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., so we can plan your photos around it. It doesn’t run in windy conditions, so I’ll help you plan around the weather. In summer we start early to beat the heat. Ask about a custom session.

Professional Headshots in Fountain Hills, AZ

Business owners, executives, realtors, and professionals of all kinds: a strong headshot does a lot of work for you. I photograph professionals in Fountain Hills and across the Valley, and I keep sessions calm, quick, and free of awkward posing.

You get clear direction the whole time, flattering studio-style lighting, and an edited gallery within 3 business days. Optional retouching is available after you choose your photos.

I can shoot on location around Fountain Hills or set up at your office for one person or a whole team. Headshot sessions are pre-paid, unlike my free mini sessions. See how headshots work or send an inquiry and we’ll find a time.

How My Free Mini Sessions Work

  1. Book a free mini session from the calendar.
  2. We shoot for about 30 minutes.
  3. Within 3-5 business days you get a private gallery. Buy only the photos you love. If you don’t love them, you don’t spend a dollar.

FAQ

It depends on the spot. Fountain Park is a Town of Fountain Hills park, and McDowell Mountain Regional Park is a Maricopa County park. Each can have its own fees or rules for paid sessions. If we book a custom session, I’ll help you check what is needed.

Sunrise and the golden hour before sunset both work well. The Fountain runs for about 15 minutes at the top of each hour between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., so we can time your photos around it. In summer we usually shoot early to stay comfortable.

The Fountain doesn’t run in windy conditions. If wind is in the forecast, we can plan a different look or pick a new time.

The Fountain and the lake, Fountain Park. Public art and a walkable downtown, the Avenue of the Fountains. Desert and mountain views, Adero Canyon. Not sure? Send me a message and I’ll match the spot to your session.

Coordinated, not matchy. Soft, solid, mid-tone colors work well against the lake, the desert, and the art. Once we pick your location, I’m happy to give more specific guidance.
