City parks like Mansel Carter are usually fine for a standard session. Schnepf Farms and the Olive Mill are private venues with their own session policies, and San Tan Mountain Regional Park is a county park with an entry fee. If your spot needs a booking or permit, I will flag it before we book.
Sunrise and the golden hour before sunset both work well. Schnepf Farms is at its absolute best in spring when the peach orchards bloom, and the desert at San Tan is beautiful at sunset. In summer we usually shoot early to stay comfortable.
Rustic and seasonal, Schnepf Farms. Warm and Tuscan, the Olive Mill. A classic park with a lake, Mansel Carter. Desert and mountains, San Tan. Not sure? Send me a message and I will match the spot to your session.
Coordinated, not matchy. Soft, solid, mid-tone colors work beautifully against Queen Creek’s farms and desert. Earthy tones look especially good at Schnepf Farms and the Olive Mill. Once we pick your location, I am happy to give more specific guidance.
